Absztrakt

Ez a tanulmány metaanalízis, melyben a területitőke-koncepción alapuló nemzetközi empirikus kutatások módszertanát és eredményeit mutatom be röviden. Először az Európai Unió NUTS-2 szintű régióinak, majd Olaszország térségeinek, végül Turin tartomány területitőke-ellátottságára vonatkozó vizsgálati eredményeit vázolom fel. Ezekben a kutatásokban általában kvantitatív módszereket használtak, ám Rota a kvantitatív és a kvalitatív módszereket egyszerre alkalmazta, az ő elemzései igazán figyelemreméltóak. A második részben a tudás túlcsordulásának mechanizmusait mutatom be a területitőke-paradigma szempontjából.
