Jelen kutatásunkban a Nyíri-erdő 5 (32–117 éves, valamint főként szürke nyár, kocsányos tölgy és akác főfafajú) erdő-részletének talajfelszín közeli pókfaunáját vizsgáltuk talajcsapdázással. Ez a módszer a külföldi és a hazai gyakorlatban egyaránt elterjedt a talajfelszínen élő pókok vizsgálatában. A mintagyűjtést 2016-ban végeztük, 190 napon át. Összesen 39 faj 1802 egyedét fogtuk be. A leggyakoribb faj a Pardosa alacris volt, 361 egyeddel. A legtöbb fajjal (8) a kövipókok családja került kimutatásra. A csapdázott együttes túlnyomó többségét a talajfelszínen vadászó fajok egyedei alkották. A legtöbb pók június hónapban került csapdázásra.
