A hazai erdőállomány fahasználati lehetőségeinek előrejelzése és a túltartott faállományok vizsgálata

Absztrakt

Tanulmányunkban a 2023–2100 közötti időszakra vonatkozóan egyszerű hozamvizsgálatot végeztünk a körzeti erdőtervekben előírt vágásérettségi korok alapján. Eredményeink szerint még az új erdőtelepítések nélkül is évente több faanyag válik kitermelhetővé a 2023–2100 közötti időszakban, mint az elmúlt tíz év átlagos fakitermelési szintje. A 2023–2050 közötti időszakban a kitermelési lehetőségek várhatóan a jelenlegi fakitermelési szint 153%-át teszik majd ki. Ez a mostani szint fölött további 4 millió m³-es fahasználati potenciált jelent anélkül, hogy a már 2023-ban is túltartott állományokat kitermelnék. A projekciós időszak első felében a kitermelésre elérhető iparifa hozam várhatóan meghaladja az iparifa termelés átlagos historikus szintjét. Azonban a projekciós időszak második felében az iparifa hozam csökkenő tendenciát mutat, és még a 2014–2023-as évek átlaga alá is eshet. Az iparifa hozam előre jelzett csökkenése rávilágít a faipari innováció kiemelt fontosságára. Tanulmányunkban a hazai túltartott erdőállományok jellemzőit és élőfakészletét is vizsgáltuk. Eredményeink szerint a hazai erdőállomány élőfakészletének 12,2%-a túltartott, és a túltartott erdőállományok élőfakészlete az elmúlt 43 évben megháromszorozódott, és 2023-ra 50,2 millió m3 -re emelkedett. A túltartott erdők olyan faanyag-tartalékot képviselnek, amely rendelkezésre állhat a növekvő faanyag-kereslet kielégítésére. Ugyanakkor, ha a jelenlegi körülmények és erdőgazdálkodási gyakorlatok folytatódnak, élőfakészletük jelentős része minőségi romlásra van ítélve, és akár piacképességét is elveszítheti. Ezen megújuló és megújítható természeti erőforrás mozgósításához az erdőgazdálkodási gyakorlatok megváltoztatására és új faipari innovációkra lesz szükség.
