The book “Management Consultancy in Central and Eastern Europe: Consultancy in a Global Context”byJózsef Poór, Eric J. Sanders, Gergely Németh, and Erika Varga, is a vigorous resource for experts in the Central and Eastern European area. As experts in management consulting, the authors offer a comprehensive international and regional analysis of consultancy from both organisational and specialized perspectives to predict the future of management consultancy. The presence of real-life case studies from over eight CEE countries makes the book highly valuable for people interested in transitional economies. Notably, the author and his team have been continu-ally rationalized on this issue in Hungarian volumes for above 25 years. “Ma-nagement Consulting for Managers and Consultants”,was released in 1989 as Poór’s first publication. The book walks around thecomplex dynamics of management consul-tancy issues. It emphasizes the significance and upgradation of consultancy in achieving business growth in post-socialist economies. Moreover, the glo-bal differences between tutoring, mentoring, and consultative rolesare also highlighted. Prime consultancy concepts and hurdles regarding transitional economies are presented to the readers, whereas hands-on cases are presen-ted for the consultants to refine their professional expertise and abilities for future challenges.
