Absztrakt

“Das resiliente Unternehmen – Die Krisen der Zu-kunft erfolgreich meistern” by Achim Röhe (2022) provides a thorough exploration of OR from both a theoretical and practical perspective across eleven chapters and spans a detailed framework for crisis management. The book begins by exploring funda-mental principles of OR, analysing its historical deve-lopment, theoretical foundations, and relevance in ra-pidly changing business environments. It then explo-res the key dimensions of OR through the lens of the “Winning Wheel” model, which integrates auto-nomy, sustainability, resilience, and human-centric strategies as key pillars for long-term adaptability. Röhe further analyses risk management strategies, emphasising AI-driven decision-making and OR dashboards to enable organisations to effectively anticipate and mitigate crises. The latter sections focus on the practical implementation of OR frame-works in business settings, using real-world applications through case studies. The book concludes with discussions on the future of self-driving organisati-ons and the need to embed OR in corporate governance. By combining stra-tegic foresight and digital innovation, Röhe’s work serves as a valuable reso-urce for both researchers and practitioners seeking to understand and apply OR principles in an increasingly volatile and technology-driven business environment...
